1. About Our Farm

Batchelor Family Farm is a small, family-run agricultural business specializing in the sale of hatching eggs and chicks. Availability is seasonal and subject to change.

2. Orders & Availability

All products are offered subject to availability.
We reserve the right to limit quantities or decline orders at our discretion.
Placing an order or inquiry does not guarantee availability until confirmed by us.

3. Hatching Eggs – Important Notice

Hatch rates are affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to shipping conditions, handling after delivery, incubator setup, temperature, humidity, and user experience. Hatch rate is 0%-100% due to these factors. Hatching is not guaranteed.
By purchasing hatching eggs, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

4. Shipping

Eggs are shipped Monday–Wednesday to reduce the risk of delays.
Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once a package is accepted by the carrier, Batchelor Family Farm is not responsible for delays, mishandling, or damage caused by the carrier.

5. Damage & Claims

If eggs arrive damaged, you must notify us within 2 hours of delivery.
Clear photos of the shipping box and contents are required for any consideration of replacement or refund. Claims will be made with the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.
Claims submitted outside this window may not be honored.

6. Chicks (If Applicable)

Chicks are sold based on seasonal availability.
Live animals are inherently fragile and sensitive to environmental conditions.
Local pickup may be required for chicks unless otherwise agreed upon.

7. Biosecurity & Returns

Due to biosecurity concerns, no returns or exchanges are accepted on hatching eggs, chicks, or any live animal products.
All sales are final once the order has been fulfilled.

8. Payment

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of order.
Orders may require payment in full before fulfillment.
Prices are subject to change without notice.

9. Farm Visits & Pickup

Local pickup is by appointment only.
Unscheduled visits are not permitted for the safety of our animals and family.

10. Limitation of Liability

Batchelor Family Farm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text and images, is the property of Batchelor Family Farm and may not be used without permission.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.

Return and Refund Policy

At Batchelor Family Farm, we take pride in the care and attention given to our poultry and products. Because we sell hatching eggs, chicks, and other agricultural products, our return and refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting animal health and biosecurity.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final once an order has been fulfilled.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on hatching eggs, chicks, or any live animal products.

2. Hatching Eggs

Hatch rates are affected by many factors beyond our control, including shipping conditions, handling after delivery, incubator setup, temperature, humidity, and individual experience. Hatch rate will be 0%-100%.
No refunds or replacements will be issued based on hatch results.

3. Shipping Damage

If eggs arrive damaged, you must notify us within 2 hours of delivery.
Clear photos of the shipping box and damaged contents are required.
If damage is confirmed, a replacement or refund (excluding shipping costs) may be offered at our discretion. Claims will be submitted to carrier for damaged packages. This is not guaranteed.

4. Chicks (If Applicable)

Chicks are sold based on seasonal availability and are only shipped seasonally.
Live animals are sensitive to environmental conditions, especially during transport.
Any concerns regarding chick condition must be reported within 2 hours of pickup or delivery, with clear photos if applicable.
Replacement or refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

5. Shipping Delays

Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, Batchelor Family Farm is not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related issues, or mishandling.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.

6. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled or delayed by Batchelor Family Farm due to availability, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If an order is canceled by us before fulfillment, a full refund will be issued.
